Its a shame you arent in my country as I would love to talk to you about my kitchen remodel I am planing right now. Thanks for your advice it is appreciated. I am now tossing up between a granite bench top like you have shown here or a wooden bench top. Love your thoughts, it will go against clean white painted cabinets. Sally
