Look of the month: Graphic whites

Crisp and clean, white is the easiest way to dress up for this season’s minimalist trend. With little effort required in terms of accessories and styling, it’s no wonder white is the key colour this summer. Designers such as Vera Wang, Sportmax and Celine embraced the structural look while Louis Vuitton and Emilio Pucci expressed their feminine side with beautiful, lacy creations. With a touch of black and indigo, it seems even the classic white shirt received an upgrade at Jil Sander, whose collection has a distinctive artsy feel.

White has long been a designer’s favourite and this month we’ve come up with a settled, yet quirky, retro-inspired collection of artsy accessories. Our absolute favourite has to be the legendary DKR Eames Wire Chair and Jonathan Adler’s ‘Fox’. Both make a statement in their own right, and are beautiful in modern minimalist interiors. Set against bare concrete walls or warm woods such as walnut or oak, these pieces are sure to add a touch of creativity to your space.
