Retail design: Hampstead Village deli
Designed by a london-based architecture and design studio MS-DA, Melrose & Morgan is a grocery shop and kitchen, that sells daily fresh & home made food using predominantly English produce but also offers fresh cakes, cheeses, meats, wine, sweets, preserves only to name a few of the items on their shelves. Located in the heart of Hamstead Village, it sits on two levels and provides it’s visitors with a relaxing place for a cup of coffee or a bite to eat, as well as the freshest local produce.
MS-DA was approached with a brief to create a shop & cafe with lot of display area for all the different groceries, and to establish a functional space both for customers and operators. The final result is fresh, with a traditional feel, whilst being in keeping with the latest trends in retail interior design.
Established as a limited company in 2011 by Michel Schranz, MS-DA is an ambitious design studio offering a wide range of services in the field of design and architecture. You can see their full portfolio of residential and commercial projects here.
