You’ve been framed!

You’ve been framed!

One easy way to change your interior around is to bring some character with coordinated picture frames. Wither its family photos or art you are displaying, creating a nice frame arrangement is a budget savvy and easy way to decorate. This week we have looked into some design ideas to liven up your space and these are our favorites.

Family collage: We love collages and mood boards – they are such an inspirational interior feature! By coordinating pictures of similar style, period or colour palette you can create beautiful boards that are like pieces of art in themselves. We especially love the use of vintage fashion photographs in this image.

It’s about the scale: Why not try arranging picture frames of different sizes to create a larger unified feature. This usually works best when using frames of three to four different sizes to create diversity without making it look too chaotic.

Colour coordinated: There is something about black and pink that just works! We love how different size art prints have been arranged according to colour, creating a beautiful and eclectic art arrangement.

Rustic haven: Colour is a great way to bring character into your room. We love this rustic look because of colour coordinated frames and photographs. This is a truly personal, experimental and creative look and works best with your market finds and little quirky details.

Monochrome:  Simple and elegant, monochrome is one of our favourite looks as it is relatively easy to work in most interior spaces. You can add interest by using different size frames of both landscape and portrait nature.
