Nothing gives us satisfaction like a good bathroom or kitchen revamp. For this project, we had the privilege of turning a dark, outdated space into a bright airy oasis. This transformation wasn’t just about changing the aesthetics. It was about reimagining the space to suit the client’s needs and lifestyle. We wanted to create a bathroom that feels spacious and serene while making its everyday use as convenient and functional as possible.
A Space in Need of a Revival
The existing bathroom hadn’t seen a renovation in decades. The layout, design, and materials were no longer in sync with modern tastes, and the space felt closed off and cramped. Maximising Space and Light
A key goal of this transformation was to maximise the sense of space, which was challenging in such a compact room. To tackle this, we designed mirror-panelled cabinets that not only provided clever storage solutions but also helped to bounce light around the space. Mirrors are an effective tool in making smaller rooms feel larger by creating the illusion of depth and openness, and the added benefit of hidden storage allows for a tidy, clutter-free look.
The strategic use of mirrors opened up the room, making it feel much more expansive. This design choice was particularly important, as the bathroom lacked natural light, and we needed to make the most of what we had to work with.
A Touch of Luxury with Copper and Marble
For the finishing touches, we added a dash of elegance with copper fittings and marble accents. The copper introduces a sleek, modern feel that contrasts beautifully with the pastel tiles, while the marble provides a sense of luxury and timeless beauty. The combination of these elements is one worthy of admiration.
