Sandbrook Road, London
We designed, supplied and installed this contemporary kitchen with masculine industrial accents to compliment the brand new extension the clients had built. As this was a newly built project, we had an opportunity to be involved at the early stage of the design process.
-
As we had to utilise every inch of the space efficiently, we designed shallow cabinets of varying depths for storing spices and condiments. The display unit with lacquered open shelving blends seamlessly into the rest of the kitchen cabinetry.
-
The breakfast unit has been designed with a Neolith Beton worktop contrasts against dark coloured laminate concrete effect carcass inside. An LED strip lighting on motion sensor illuminates the space and adds warmth to the concrete finishes. By using this lighting the mood has been uplifted the mood created by the industrial accents.
-
We opted for kitchen cabinetry with minimal handles to compliment the stainless steel worktop and concrete finishes.
-
The Siemens induction hob in light grey colour blends seamlessly in with the kitchen island worktop.
-
As the kitchen is opposite an exposed brick-wall, we opted for the cabinetry with a pale grey satin lacquer finish. Using a neutral and light colour scheme acted as a canvas for the client’s decorative accessories.
-
For a seamless look, we opted for a vintage stainless steel worktop with integrated under-mounted sink and applied the same finish for the side panels on the island and plinths.
-
Complete continuity was achieved by using the brushed stainless steel finish throughout the scheme - the handles, appliances and Quooker tap.
